Walk the Camino Frances, a pilgrimage route that carves through the heart of Spain's majestic landscapes and ancient towns, from Pamplona's lively streets to the spiritual Santiago de Compostela.
This historic route unfolds a panorama of changing vistas. Beginning in the picturesque French town of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, it ascends the awe-inspiring Pyrenees and traverses through the rich cultures of Navarre, La Rioja, Castilla y León, and Galicia.
Camino Frances offers a tapestry of experiences: the Gothic wonders of Burgos, the historical richness of Léon, and the rustic charm of Galicia's O Cebreiro. Along the way, you'll encounter architectural marvels like the Iron Cross, the Cathedral of León, and the quaint beauty of towns like Astorga and Sarria.
Spanning almost 800 kilometers, the Camino Frances is often too large a commitment given the logistics and time people usually have on their hands. Recognizing its organizational challenge, we have meticulously divided this iconic pilgrimage into eight manageable stages.
This flexibility allows our travelers to experience the Camino at their own pace, selecting sections that suit their time and fitness levels. Whether you choose to walk a single stage or combine several, our tailored approach ensures that the Camino's wonders are accessible to all.
While our tours traditionally begin with walking on the first day and conclude with walking on the last day, we understand that some travelers may wish to extend their stay. We can arrange additional days before or after the walking tour, complete with accommodation bookings.
Our comprehensive service takes care of every detail, ensuring a seamless journey. From handpicked accommodations to daily luggage transfers, we provide comfort after each day's trek.
You're never alone on this journey, with round-the-clock support, GPS navigation, and an in-depth travel booklet guiding you through the Camino Frances' rich tapestry of history and culture.
In the spirit of the Camino, take the first step with us. Leave the heavy lifting to our expert team and focus on what truly matters – the journey, the scenery, and the reflection.

Walking Holidays Slovenia is great! They provided all of the information and made the arrangements for our self guided walk in Triglav National Park. We hiked to Vodnikov Dom the first day, then to the Seven Lakes Basin the second day, then back to Ribcev Laz the third day. The trails were well marked, and the GPS app recommended by Walking Holidays Slovenia was very helpful for keeping us on track. The trails were very rocky in places, which was a bit of a challenge for us, but it was so beautiful! Very much recommend this company!

We had an incredible time on the 5 day hut to hut hike in Croatia. The views were perfect, the accommodation much nicer than we imagined and we had a fantastic support guide - Ivan - who was very friendly and made the whole trip possible. We were also able to go to the beach most days after we finished our hiking and everything was very flexible. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

having any guarantees about what we were getting. It was a foreign company that we couldn’t find much information about, so there was a lot of anticipation regarding what kind of information we would receive, the standard of the hotels, and whether the luggage transport would work. But everything has gone smoothly. You responded quickly when we contacted you on WhatsApp, and you were solution-oriented. The hikes were great — we made a few adjustments due to the heat on the first day. I was active on social media, and many people have been impressed by the trip. I’ve shared the link to your website with around 10 friends. If you need a reference for other Norwegians, that’s no problem. I’ve posted some videos from the trip on my Instagram: @bjorghatloy. Thank you so much for the trip!
My husband and I recently completed a Walking Holiday of the Amalfi Coast for 11 days, which was absolutely fantastic and the highlight of our trip to Italy. The travel agents who organised the tour Anja and Samo were very helpful, adjusting and customising it to suit our requests. The accomodation booked for us was very comfortable and the transfer of our luggage from hotel to hotel took place with no issues. Our hiking guides including Alessandra, Marcella and Diego were all exceptional. They were friendly, supportive and extremely knowledgable about the towns and regions we walked in. They ensured we had a fantastic experience creating memories, while enjoying the walking, the amazing views, the tasty food and the beautiful Italian culture. I highly recommend this walking tour and would encourage anyone who was planning a similar holiday to book through this company. It was a great way to see and experience the Amalfi Coast.
Tour was very well organised with lots of information to help guide us through the holiday. All the accommodation was great. Particularly liked the self catering Glamping Mountain Fairytale and the Berghi Hotel. Food at the Hotel Starkl restaurant was great as well. The route took us through a beautiful part of the country on quiet roads and cycle paths. The cycle paths are much better than in the UK and I would also like to say that Slovenian car drivers are much more patient and tolerant than many drivers in the UK. Beautiful country. Really enjoyed it.
